FHA Fitness, Health and Active, a sister company of Gresham Group, announces a new fitness show, 5 Colour Fitness airing on DSTV’s SuperSport Channel 9 and 10 from 27 July 2020. After South Africa went into a national lockdown, many of those who frequently visited the gym found themselves looking for a new fitness regime, and a way to destress, keep fit and stay healthy.
FHA 5 Colour Fitness will provide much-needed exercise routines during this unprecedented pandemic, particularly for those working from home – keeping viewers both mentally and physically fit. The show will air for 5 weeks during which viewers will have the opportunity to train with various qualified fitness instructors from around the country. The exercises showcased on SuperSport range from full body workouts, beginner classes and extensive muscle building and weight-loss regimes.
Executive Director for FHA, Berne van Zyl: “This is a new initiative for us, and we are so proud to see the show on SuperSport. Our trainers are all qualified and have many years of experience in the fitness industry. Our vision is to help viewers around Africa accomplish their fitness and health goals from the comfort of their homes.”
The show will broadcast Monday – Friday at 07h00 and again at 17h00, with repeats on weekends at the same times. FHA’s trainers are all proudly South African, and for the first season of the show will feature trainers such as: Jaco de Bruyn, Laura Danielz, Victoria Sethabela, JP van der Schyff, Tammy Rawston, Anver Alexander, Iain MacDonald and Angela Gresham. Angela Gresham now resides in New York, but she will be crossing over to SA to train with our locals. The show features special guests as well, including Lucas Mthenjane, John Lucas, Zinhle Masango and Kay Kay Sibiya.
FHA’s trainers have their own success stories to share as well. Victoria Sethabela, who is part of Team Pink on the show, started off as a fitness instructor seven years ago in a well-known gym and worked her way up to personal training. She took to the stage as a fitness athlete and earned a provincial title in 2017 and in 2018 (Sedibeng). She also became the National Champ in 2018 and is now an IFBB Elite Pro. “It is an honour to be part of this initiative. I hope to help viewers achieve their fitness goals for this year, but to also keep our teachings going on for as long as they can,” she said.
Whether you need to shape-up for the upcoming summer or just keep fit and toned, this show is for you – young and old. Tune into SuperSport 10 for South Africa and SuperSport 9 for the rest of the continent from 27 July 2020 to catch the FHA team. If you miss it, you can watch the repeats on the weekends or check out DSTV catchup or DSTV Showmax.
